Dark Lane, Buntingford, Extension/ Renovation - Bungalow
Before
When a client approached us regarding this project, we were excited to assist them in achieving the full potential of their property. They wished to retain the home's charm and character while modernizing it in a manner that remained welcoming. We completed an extension that increased the property's size by 57 square meters, which was more than half the original size of the bungalow.
After
Following the completion of the front porch and rear extension, we carried out renovations across the entire property. This included installing new plumbing and heating systems powered by an air source heat pump, rewiring the property, laying natural stone tiles with underfloor heating, adding a new en-suite and bathroom, and creating an open-plan, cottage-style kitchen with bifold doors that open out to a spacious, paved patio area perfect for entertaining.
