When our client approached us with the goal of adding a single-storey extension to the rear of their property, we immediately recognised the great potential their existing home possessed and how perfectly their vision could be achieved. More than just an addition, we saw an opportunity to create a seamless transition, enhancing their current living space and transforming it into something truly special. The main aim of the build was to craft an open-plan space that felt like an integral part of the home, not merely an add-on, ensuring a harmonious flow and unified aesthetic throughout was crucial. 

The finished space is filled with natural lighting thanks to the Velux roof windows and bi-fold doors we installed, making it perfect for entertaining or relaxing no matter what the season. We built bespoke storage that blends effortlessly into the wall makes it easier for keeping the space organised. The client longed for a space that flowed with the existing house and garden, this has been achieved in abundance, especially with the addition of a sleek patio just outside those stunning bi-fold doors. The herringbone flooring brings warmth to the colour scheme and gives a very classic aesthetic to the space. The clients wished for a Zinc roof for the extension and this not only gives a really interesting architectural view but has many benefits in relation to longevity and low maintenance.
